1. Introduction

Welcome to DX Sports, a sports tournament management platform operated from Windhoek, Namibia. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DX Sports website at https://dxsports.xyz, including any associated mobile views, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, registering a team, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

  • "User" means any person who creates an account on the Platform.
  • "Team Manager" means a User who registers a team for a tournament.
  • "Player" means any individual listed on a team's roster.
  • "Tournament" means any sporting competition organised through the Platform.
  • "Organiser" means the individual or entity running a specific Tournament.

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Namibian law;
  • Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform; and
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to protect your login details.

5. Team Registration

A Team Manager may register a team for a Tournament via the Platform. When registering, you confirm that:

  • You have the authority to register the team and represent its members;
  • All information you provide (team name, manager details, captain details, roster) is accurate;
  • You have obtained consent from each Player before adding them to your roster;
  • Your team will comply with all Tournament rules, including eligibility, roster size, and conduct.

Each User may register a maximum of 2 teams at any given time. Team registrations are subject to approval by the Organiser and are not confirmed until they receive the status "Approved" on the Platform.

6. Payment Terms

Tournament registration fees are stated in Namibian Dollars (N$) and are collected in person at our physical shop at Tal Street, Opposite Natis, Windhoek (trading as @the shop). The Platform does not process online payments.

  • Payment must be made before the registration deadline stated for each Tournament;
  • Teams with outstanding payment may be removed or waitlisted at the Organiser's discretion;
  • Refunds are governed by the specific Tournament's rules and are decided by the Organiser;
  • We are not responsible for any fees charged by third parties in the payment process.

7. Code of Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post defamatory, obscene, or offensive content via the Platform;
  • Upload team logos or imagery you do not have the right to use;
  • Attempt to access another User's account or data;
  • Abuse, harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other User;
  • Manipulate match scores, standings, or event records;
  • Use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited advertising;
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Platform (including denial-of-service attacks);
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data from the Platform without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the codebase, branding, layout, and text — is owned by DX Sports or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g. team logos), but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that content in connection with the Platform.

9. Tournament Changes and Cancellations

The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Change match dates, venues, and times;
  • Adjust the number of teams, groups, or format of the Tournament;
  • Postpone or cancel the Tournament in the event of weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

Where a Tournament is cancelled, refunds (if any) will be at the sole discretion of the Organiser. We are not liable for any travel or other costs incurred by Users.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any information posted by Users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Namibian law, DX Sports and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or injury at a Tournament.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total registration fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DX Sports and its officers from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you upload.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, committed fraud, or engaged in conduct that harms other Users or the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
